Betty Gallo was most kind to me and my father after my mother died on December 3rd 2013; Everytime we entered the Sugar Bowl she was always there to give us comfort and emotional support. It was just a few months ago that we kidded around about going to Florida in late April just to escape the Northern Michigan winter; I am truly saddened to read of her passing; She was a kind woman with a great sense of humour; God has made a place for her in Heaven; God Bless You Betty!!

I will DEARLY miss my "Partner In Crime' My "Vice" of Corey Cove Shores. Her smile was always present, her laugh infectious, & her kindness unparalleled. The resort will never be the same without her. Godspeed to her & all of her family.

Corey Cove will not be the same without Betty. The whole community up there will miss her. She was a positive, supportive person to me and I will miss talking on the beach with her. She had some tough times in her life, but she kept working. She will always be an inspiration. Favorite story? Her paddleboating in the lake when it was still half covered in ice!!

Sending my deepest sympathy and prayers for the family and friends of Betty. My mom and Betty shared a special bond. My mom was Betty's teacher years ago in Detroit. My mom thought of Betty as one of her own. Betty was like family to the Kimballs. I'm pretty sure my mom was there to welcome Betty home. Though I had only met Betty one time I remember her to be a very sweet woman with a sweet smile. I have been friends with her oldest son Brandon for 17 years and I know that she will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the loved ones that she has left behind, but just remember she is now without any pain or worry and looking down on all of us with her pretty smile. Betty and I have been "up north" friends for 17 years. I will always remember Betty for her big smile, and wearing her bathing suit while the rest of us had on our winter coats! She loved the sun, loved her paddleboat, and found the beach to be her heaven. I just saw her up north 10 days ago, and we looked forward to seeing each other "in two weeks." I will be up north this weekend...it won't be the same without Betty.

Betty was so special! She was truly a loving, caring, positive person who always smiled even in the tougher times. It was a privilege and honor to have called her friend. May she rest in peace and all of us remain influenced by our moments, memories, and time with her. Condolences to her entire family.
