Beverly Johnson

Beverly Johnson passed away on November 13, 2016 at the age of 85. She was born on April 1st, 1931 in Otter Creek, Maine; daughter of Oscar and Laura (nee March) Walls. Beverly will be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to tell stories. She had an eccentric aura about her and was always dressed immaculately. She had a keen eye for art. She was a giving person that will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Beverly was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond and her sons Andrew and Richard Johnson. She is survived by her loving daughters Linda Honey and Lori Blackmer. She was proud of her grandchildren Sontia Honey, Marinda Thomas, Sage Honey, Rick Johnson, Amy O'Callaghan, Brian Johnson Curtis Fisher and Roberta Blackmer. She leaves behind 19 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her companion Gus Kartsonas. She will be missed by her sister Edith Faller. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A Memorial Service be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 17100 Chalmers, Detroit, MI 48205.
