Bonnie Ellen Miller, died in Detroit on April 26, 2018 at age 72. She was a longtime resident of Grosse Pointe Farms. She was born in Williamsport , PA to Blanche and Leonard Niemoller. Bonnie received her Ph. D from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was very active in Cancer Research being employed by the Karmanos Cancer Institute, retiring from there in 2004 after 15 years of service. She leaves behind husband Fred R. Miller, daughters Emily Campo and Julia Miller, beloved granddaughter Amanda. Bonnie loved gardening, knitting, painting, travel and above all grand mothering. Funeral will be Wednesday 2 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home , 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Visitation 3-8 pm on Tuesday.
