Born the only son of the late Mae (née Amato) and Anthony Ugval, Carlo grew up alongside his cherished sisters, Nina (Len) Shipley and Enza Slomski (and her late husband Mike).
Carlo was preceded in death by his Carolyn Ugval (née Nix), with whom he shared four cherished sons: Anthony, Tom (Kristin), Jon (Anne), and Michael. For the past 36 years, he found deep companionship and joy in life with his soulmate, Sarah Becker.

A true lover of life, Carlo found joy in golfing, boating, and traveling the world with his dearest friends. His radiant smile and warm, welcoming nature could light up any room, making everyone feel at ease in his presence.
Carlo was a great entrepreneur businessman and was fully dedicated to every opportunity he was presented with. He took subtle pride in all of the business accomplishments he gained throughout his life.
The great abundance of love shared with him by all of our friends and family, was truly priceless to him.
