Charles Conlon

Charles Conlon was born August 28, 1925 in Detroit and entered into rest August 5, 2015 in Grosse Pointe woods at the age of 89. Charles was the loving husband of Yvonne and dearest father of Charles Jr. (Carol), Sharon Marshall (Bill), Ken, Lori Mangiapane (Dion), and Debbie Borthwick (Paul). He was grandfather of Charles III, Craig, Lisa, Kristy, Lindsay, Brad, Gabrielle, Kayla and great-grandfather of Olivia and loving brother of Margaret Hay (the late Edward). He is Also survived by special cousin Frances "Kelly" Eberhart. Charles was a World War 2 Navy Vet who loved to read and play the lotto. Visitation Friday 3-9 pm with scripture service 7 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, 48236. In state Saturday from 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores, 48080. Father Joe Tuskiewicz will be officiating. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
