Christopher Leonard Page was born on Thursday, June 22nd, 1978 in Detroit, MI. He was the only child to Tom and Nancy, her son being the apple of her eye. Chris grew up in Harrison Township, where he met some of his best friends in his life and developed his affinity for all things Star Wars, a love he carried throughout his life. He graduated from L'anse Cruse High School in 1996, where he played soccer and trumpet with the school band. Chris' dedication to education lead him to his college career at Western Michigan University, where he graduated with a bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering. He continued his education at Lawrence Technological University where he graduated with a second bachelor's degree in industrial operations engineering. He loved traveling, visiting places like China, Germany, and St. Maarten with Hawaii holding a special place in his heart. He also loved spending time with his close knit group of friends, whether they were camping throughout Michigan or simply enjoying bad movies, as long as they were together. On July 11th, 2004, Chris attended the meet and greet for one of his best friend, Brian's, wedding party where he met the love of his life, cousin of the bride, Kelly. The first sentence of Chris and Kelly's love story contains one word, "Dibs". Their love flourished every day for the last 10 years. There is nothing one wouldn't do for the other; true soulmates until the end of eternity. Chris' light is carried on through his children. His very best friend, and his "mini-me", his son Phillip James. Chris shared his many loves, from Legos to Star Wars with his son, passing on his sense of humor and contagious laughter. Chris fell in love for the third time with the birth of his daughter, Morgan. A girl's first love is her father and anyone who saw the two together knew this to be true. Their love was made apparent by the radiance that emanated between the two in each other's presence. Chris was a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. All he wanted was to be surrounded by the love and laughter of his family and friends. He could make anyone laugh and will always be remembered in the hearts of those that loved him. Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly; his children, PJ and Morgan; his mother, Nancy; his father, Tom (Lori); his sister, Nichole (Tim); his grandmothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We all love you Chris and hopefully we'll meet again in a galaxy far, far away. Visitation will be held at A.H. Peters on Wednesday, December 2nd from 2 PM 8 PM.
