Clara Guensche

Clara M. Guensche at the age of 104, died peacefully at her daughter's home with family on Monday June 21, 2021. She was born March 18, 1917 in Queens, NY to Vincent and Matilda Stering and was preceded in death by her late husbands Hubert Bohle and Oscar Guensche. Clara had natural beauty and charm with elegance and style. She had many friends throughout her life and enjoyed socializing, dancing, gardening and played a mean game of scrabble. Leading by example for all, she was strongly rooted in Catholic faith. Clara will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Margaret Glei (John), Hubert Bohle (Dolores), and Richard Bohle; her three stepchildren Clayton Guensche (Janet), Lisa Moore (Jimmy), and Sharon Goetz; her five grandchildren John Ruther (Kristin), Paul Glei (Leanne), Sandra McKenzie (David), Shannon Bohle, and Kelly Bowers (Brian); her 6 step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on June 27, 2021 at 4:00 pm to 8: 00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Prayer Service will be held on June 27, 2021 at 7:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held on June 28, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Paul on the Lake Church, 157 Lakeshore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms. Instate 9 :30 am at Church.
