Clarice E. Vaughn

Clarice Elizabeth Vaughn was born on September 20th, 1956 to the late Oliver and Lois Mae in Detroit, MI. Clarice accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Detroit public schools and graduated from King High school where she met and married her high school sweetheart Marcellus where four children was created in love. She worked at the U.S. Postal Service until she retired to raise her children.

Clarice enjoyed shopping, cooking and watching some of her favorite tv shows including Ellen and Rachel Ray. She loved music and being at peace in her home while talking care of her children.

Clarice was called home November 24th, 2019. Preceding her in death was her mother Lois, father Oliver, brother Brian and her beloved daughter Maria. She leaves behind with love three children; Marc (Neka),Marcellus III (Britney), and Marcia; two grandchild Eric and Marcellus IV with one on the way; six sisters - Olivette (the late Willie), Olivia, Mary, Merrill, Kathryn (Clark) and Lois (Khadam); three brothers - Oliver, Jr. (Missy), James (the late Penny) and Gregory and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Clarice will take place on Sunday, December 1, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods, 48236. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
