I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Beaumont Grosse Pointe Emergency Department. He was a kind person who treated all of our patients with respect and empathy. Dave always had the safety of the ED staff first and foremost in his duties and he was always near by with a helping hand. My sympathy to his family and dear friends. He will be missed by many at the hospital.

Such a beautiful person and kind heart to leave us so soon. As they say 'only the good die young', Dave was a wonderful person to work next to and always kept a good sense of humor. Dave was one of the good guys. always loved the candy and always was first to offer money for his share . So shy at first, but when he got to know you he opened up and was kind and funny. I really dont think any one could find anything bad to say about him. Ill miss you Candy Lady Teri Encheff

Reds/Tigers game, Reds/Brewers game, you showing me how a Detroit fan heckles Corey Hart..man I though he was going to charge you in the stands :) Redwings game...Motown ...soccer practices.....Long conversations on my back deck while looking at the pretty view. Always making each other laugh. I will miss the laughing part the most. You always loving my girls from the 1st day you met them. Duff, Cindy, Mackenzie Jo, Matty and your dear friend Buddy the dog.

Dave - you were a great supervisor. You were reliable, trustworthy, and loyal. You treated everyone as equals and never asked anyone to do anything you wouldn't do. The Shift is going to miss you. If you would have hung around a little longer - we probably would have been friends. RIP Bro.

I will always treasure our wonderful time up at the cabin with my son, Chase. We all had a great time, sitting by the fire drinking coffe at night watching the stars across the lake. What a great guy you were for that memory. I am saddened to learn of your passing, rest in peace.

Too hard to believe, surely this can't be you, but that picture is yours, it is you, Dave. One of my favorite pastimes at parties at Beth's was to seek you out and talk. I loved your insights; we have much in common. My hope now is, aside from your family's and friends' grief to somehow be assuaged, that you knew in life, as will be expressed in your passing, how well you are loved.

Dave you were more than a great supervisor, you were a great friend, I will miss you very much.
