Celebrating the life of Dean Neil Rodney, the son of late Larry and Clara Rodney, was born August 3rd, 1961 in San Diego, California. He attended public school in Warren County, OH and a graduate of Morrow Paramedics and Firemen Training School. He was a well-established machinist at Milco Manufacturing and he was known for his elaborate stories that celebrated his life. With each story you embarked upon, you traveled a new journey into Deans life. With each adventure, you traveled across the deep landscape of the United States and into the back woods of Morrow, Ohio. You were not just a passenger, you were his sidekick and ally along for the ride. In time, you would have heard each story at least ten times, but what we would not give to hear it another ten more times. His stories were full of compassion and humor. Humor that was raw but always put a smile on your face. Dean was taught at an early age how to be a diligent and hard working. He carried that on his shoulders with pride. As a result, he always stayed active, tinkering with his gadgets in the garage and starting a brand-new project. Even though it might have taken a while to complete, it always got finished in due time. With time comes perfection and he was the perfect perfection. In his youth you could not keep him inside. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, being one with nature, taking his boat on the lake, fishing, and going to the range. He was a gamer, before the word gamer became an adjective. He was a musician, not only did he have the skills to play the drums and guitar, he also passed the knowledge down to his children. Dean had a deep love for Rock and Roll from his favorite bands Queen and Black Sabbath. If you were not blaring them, you were not listening to them correctly. Dean was a family man and loved life. He loved his wife, children, and his Native American Heritage. He took pride in being a Native American and collecting many artifacts over the years. He was united in holy matrimony to Bonnie Jean Rodney, on December 24th, of 1990. This union was blessed with seven lovely children. Survived by his beautiful wife: Bonnie Rodney, and talented children: Heidi (Keith) Cmich, James (Jennifer) Tucker, Jeffrey (Jessica) Tucker, Nathan Rodney, Samantha Rodney, Amanda Rodney, & Bethany (Steven) Gult. Continuing with his legacy and his bundles of joy are his grandchildren. Outlived by his wonderful sister: Darci (Rodney) Wynn & his nieces and nephews.
