I miss my BEST friend and partner....Proud to be his Friend!!!!

I have been friends since teenage years, first joann. then my favorite person was always mark, a kind and giving man always. and now dennis gone. so sorry to u all for the loss. just know what a wonderful dad you had Michele, it sure should get u through the sad days ahead hon

I'm are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Dennis. I enjoyed visiting with him at the January DPD retiree's meeting. He served his country in times of war and his city in times of strife...those who knew him will remember. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss.

I was so sad to hear of the loss of Dennis......I worked in Detroit with Dennis for several years at #15 what a great guy !!!! And a good heart !I know Dennis earned his way into Heaven !!!!The earth lost a good man......My thoughts and prayers go out to the family !

My condolences to the entire Detmer family. I graduated with Dennis from the police academy in 1969 and remember him well. He sat in front of me at the academy. I know he is with God now, RIP my brother officer.

Michelle & Family, I am truly sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I extend my sincere sympathy to all of you at what I know is a very sad and mournful time. Losing a father is one of the most significant losses anyone experiences in their lifetime. I know firsthand how profound a loss it is when you realize that he will no longer be there for all the events in your life. I can tell you though that the very best way to mark his passing is by filling your mind with all of the wonderful memories you have of happier times. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. I wish to share my condolences. I can emphathize. I lost my mother last week. She was 95 years old.

My condolences to the entire Detmer family. Dennis & family were very dear friends of the Kotula family having grown up with them. We lived just across the alley from the Detmers on Norwood. God bless.
