Devila V. Vyas

October 14th, 1938 – October 22nd, 2020

Devilaben Vyas was born October 14th, 1938 to Vidyaben and Chotalal Vyas. She was married to Vinodchandra Vyas in 1955 with whom she raised four loving children. A beloved school teacher in India, she along with her husband emigrated to the Unites States to create a better future for their kids and coming generations. She worked tirelessly to provide a prosperous and stable home for their family as a business owner and homemaker. At their home in Warren, Michigan, they fostered wonderful memories for the grandchildren they helped raise by cooking ‘yellow Bhakri’ and muthiya, taking the kids to the park and the library and assisting in building countless pillow forts.

She passed on October 22nd, 2020 in Warren, Michigan from a heart attack. Devilaben was an incredible wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be incredibly missed. She is survived by her husband, Vinod and her children Pragna (Ashok) Vyas, Nita (Jagdish) Vyas, Bhadresh (Bela) Vyas, Manish (Sefali) Vyas, her grandchildren Ankur (Kavita), Abhishek (Harpreet), Neha (Praveen), Mihir (Ruchi), Janaki, Shivan, Anuj, Aadit, seven great grandchildren and her six brothers and sisters.

Her family will have a visitation from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 25 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren. A religious service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
