Devin.. You were my first love. You taught me how to love , how to laugh, and what being loved felt like. You lit up a room when you walked in and I promise there was never a dull moment. I hope that your pain that you carried is now gone and your in a place where you feel happy again. A place that took that pain. I remember you banging on my window every morning at like 7:30 until I woke up cause you wantememou to be the first person i seen. Me and Devin are very close friends and i'm very lucky to have so many memories with him. But out of all of our memories together my favorite memory is singing songs together. Me and him would always put on The Beatles and just sing along. Another good memory of mine would have to be creating our clothing line N.A.T.E together. I'm gonna miss him being there for me and our friends in our friend group. I'm gonna miss him calling everybody Frank. He had such a bright heart and mind. Devin James Morey. Where do I begin? We were only friends for a little over a year, throughout that year we had our ups and downs, our good days and our bad days, but I will never forget the first night I met you. You had came over my house with Nathan and from then on we became very close. You were always there when I needed you, you would come to me and we would talk for hours, endlessly talking about life and the world. We used to read books together and watch movies. You cherished every second we spent together, I didn't understand why you loved me how you did, but neither did you. We were just us, we had this weird connection that no one could explain. You were one of my best friends but to you I meant so much more. I will never forget our times we spent together I will never forget the way your eyes lit up when you smiled I will never forget the sound of your voice or the way you laughed. We have so many memories. The last words you said to me in person were "I can't live without you" I haven't stopped dwelling on them since. I have so many regrets and things I would change. However; Ive been doing alot of thinking lately, mostly about how there are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. Theres .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. But Devin Morey I cannot tell you how grateful I am for our little infinity. You gave me forever within the numbered days, and Im grateful. I love you so much. I hope you're flying free.

Oh Devin, where do I begin? I remember when I took you to one of your infusion appts. and we were sitting there watching tv in the hospital room and all of a sudden you said calmly, Aunt Debbie my hand is swelling up!! I so freaked out and called the nurse over and she removed the IV from your hand and poked the IV into your other hand! You were so calm about the whole thing, like it was nothing!! You were such a trooper! Another time was when you were in the hospital and Uncle Dave, Grams and I were coming to visit you and I had asked you if you wanted anything special and you said, I would love a shake and a shake is what you got!! Uncle Dave and I are very saddened by this tragic event and we want you to know that we loved you very much and will miss you dearly! You will be in our hearts forever!
