Dolores Borowiak

Dolores Florence Borowiak, age 91 of Warren, passed away January 27, 2019. She was born in Hamtramck on December 9, 1927; the daughter of John and Cecilia (nee Szymczyk) Francis. Dolores was a dedicated Accountant for Harper Hospital for 10 years before retiring to work part-time at Macomb College in the Bookstore. She was also very active at Queen of Heaven Church and enjoyed doing crafts. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Michael C. Loving mother of Michael (Susan), Darlene, Alan (the late Esther) and the late Jamie. Treasured grandmother of Sunshine (John) Manhart, Jaclyn (Art) Kournoian and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Samantha, Kaitlyn, Ashton, Connor, Michael, Hudson and Lucas. Dear sister of John (Joan) Francis, Dorothy Francis and Robert (Janet) Francis. Dolores is also survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Visitation for Dolores will take place on Friday, February 1st from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic in Warren. Instate Saturday, February 2nd from 10:00AM until time of Service 11:00AM at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 23801 Kelly in Eastpointe. A private interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
