Don you will be missed your outgoing personality and your genuine concern for your customers

Dear DeWulf Family, I was so sorry to hear the news about Donnie today. I hadn't seen him since he moved from Houston back to Michigan in the early 80's. I have a lot of great memories of Don. We shared a rental house in Houston for about 3 years--he taught me how to laugh and enjoy life. I was quite an introvert before I met Don. We put up a lot of billboards together; Don knew how to make hard work fun. He introduced me to an appreciation of antique furniture which I still have today. We hitch-hiked from Austin to Houston returning from a Willie Nelson concert where our car broke down; Donnie made the trip fun and, since he was the boss, he also made sure we got back to Houston in time to start work Monday morning. These are just a few of my memories of life with Donnie. The one that stands out the most, though, is that Donnie was one of very few people in my life that I could call my "best friend." My thoughts and prayers go out the DeWulf Family. Donnie, you will be sorely missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing you.

Don lived next door to me on Hampton for 15 years. He always had a smile and a wave for me when I stepped out on the porch to get the mail. He teased me when I tried to back into my driveway, as if I would miss the pavement...it made me laugh. He was fun doing garage sales with...He also sat with me on my steps and gave me a heartfelt pep talk when I felt down. He knew I had a pet toad named Gussie and he brought over a special container for her. I will miss his sweet ways...Rest in peace my friend... Your Friend,Beaux

Don was a great man. He took my father and I fishing many times on the island years ago. I have not spoken to him in quite some time. I wish your family the best. He will be missed.

I am the mother of Donovan Dewulf. I send my prayers to Donalds family. Donald was a very good man, and his son Donovan is taking it very hard. He is unable to stop crying his dad donald was very good to him. He took him on many trips and took very good care of his son in all ways right down to teachers meetings. I will have Donovan, to remember my beloved Donald as he truely favors his dad. Donald jr was also a great mate, he showed love in all things, anything your heart desired his desired also. i will love and miss him forever. I attended St. Isaac Jogues with Don. We had a lot of fun back then. I wish I had stayed in touch with him. We were pretty close friends. I will always remember the good times we had growing up.
