Dorothy M. Bialk, age 98, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI She was born September 15, 1918 in Rensselaer, Indiana. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Bialk Dear aunt of Lorna (Jud) Utley, Christina (Rick) Strickland, Karen (Bill) Izor, and Mark (Marcella) Schantz. Loved sister-in-law to Dorthy Bachelder. She is also survived by 5 grand-nieces & nephews and 1 great-great niece. Preceded in death by her siblings, Norma Gless, Frances Schantz, and Dean Bachelder. Dorothy was an accomplished business woman, working 60 plus years and was very proud of her independence. She was dedicated to her family and friends and she enjoyed keeping current on world and local events. Dorothy was also an avid Chicago Bears fan. She resided in Barrington, Illinois for most of her life. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer, Indiana.
