Edna Ruth Willer, died August 11, 2019. Visitation Friday , August 23 from 3-8 pm, Funeral Saturday August 24 , 10:00 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home ,32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Ruth Willer age 92, on Sunday, August 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Edna was the oldest of three girls born to Cleveland and Aline Richardson in Gainesboro, Jackson County, Tennessee. Edna moved up to Detroit, Michigan with your father at 18 years old where she met her loving husband Luther Louis Willer. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Louis Willer. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. In Michigan she is survived by daughter, Pamela Willer and nieces and nephews; Al & Vicki Vanderlinden, Nick & Cate Costanza, Alex, Courtney & Kolton Vanderlinden, Niki Nelson & Eva Rose. In Tennessee she is survived by sisters Moline Davis, Shelby Violette and Polly Whitaker, nephews and nieces Charles Davis, Sherrie Knight, Patricia Violette, Jennifer, Craig & Jesse Klamer, Chuck & Carol Davis, Theresa Ballard Hyatt, Jimmy Ballard, Kathy & Terry Geer, Shannon Geer, Jason, Allison, Hudson & Ava Hayes Geer and many other relatives. Edna worked for Parke Davis (Pfizer) a pharmaceutical company and retired from there. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, theater, movies, and was always socializing with family and friends. Edna was a devout Lutheran attending and participating in both Hope Lutheran and Mt. Olivet churches and their activities. She especially enjoyed visiting and helping those church members that were house bound. Edna is a current member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
