Edward Raymond Schuman, age 84, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 with family by his side. He was born in Saint Clair Shores, MI on September 18, 1930. He is the son of Edward Francis and Irene Clementine Schuman. Edward Raymond Schuman was a radio operator for the US Air Force during the Korean War and retired as an electrician from Chrysler Automotive in 1990. Beloved husband of Dorothy of 63 years. Loving father of Deborah (Raymond) Stakenas, Walter (Susan) Schumann, and Robert (Tamara) Schuman. Cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Jeannette Edwards. Brother-in-law of Carol Ciaramitaro. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 3:00 until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Scripture service Friday at 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at the St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12311 Nineteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery with military honors by the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Covenant Hospice, 5041 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504 or to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
