Elizabeth Stella Sirut

Elizabeth Stella Sirut, age 82 of Sterling Heights, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born in Hamtramck on Friday, July 3, 1931; the daughter of Anthony and Stella Laskowski. Elizabeth will be remembered for being a very sweet, gentle-spirited lady who was always concerned about others. She was a dedicated caregiver with a wonderful sense of humor. Elizabeth enjoyed entertaining, playing slots at the casino and playing cards with family and friends. But most of all, she adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Edward for 33 years. Loving mother of Janet, Edward (Judy) and Gerald. Adoring grandmother of Kelly, Kristen (Jon), Tyler and Hailey. Soon to be great-grandmother of Addison. Dear sister of the late Thaddeus Laskowski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren. Funeral Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Fr. Jerry Slowinski will officiate. Interment Monday, July 22, 2013 at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
