Ella H. Millard died December 11, 2015 in Detroit at age 93. Ella is survived by her daughter Nancy McCarthy and son Andrew McGregor. Her beloved grandchildren Merri, Lindsey, Nicole, Aaron and Scott. She was predeceased by her parents Alexandra and Heinrich Pode, two brothers, one sister and both husbands. She was an alumnus of East Detroit High School. Ella was an administrative accountant for a national construction Firm. She was active in the Missouri Synod board of Evangelism, First English Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Hope Circle Bible Study. Ella loved baking, knitting, crossword puzzles and above all her family. Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 pm. A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods.
