Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you mourn the loss of your wonderful mother. She was truly a fine example of a Christian mother, and I will remember her fondly.

We too see it as a sad and joyous time . My most recent remembrance of her is...in Ann Arbor. I sat directly across from her. I marveled at her ability to converse and to remember the names of all the people at our table . May God bless your celebration in the church on the day of her funeral .

So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing.... However, I know it's a great comfort to you to know she's with the Lord.

It is so rich to see your loved ones buoyed/borne/born into Glory with such assurance and joy. We will remember all of you in prayer.

It is indeed a happy / sad time for your family...I know it gave your mom great comfort, having you to lean on for so long. We would like to express our deepest sympathy.

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." (Romans 12:15) We weep with you at the death of your mom and pray that the Lord gives you comfort and strength. We do rejoice with you that she knew that, by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, her sins were forgiven, and she had the promise of eternal peace with Him.

Please know that we will be thinking of you and certainly pray that God will provide the strength and comfort that you are not alone in this. Your mother had a solid grasp of the reality that this is a fallen world, and that sin meets us each day we live on this earth. That remains a strong basis for us be sure that the first step of each day is taken with Jesus.

No matter what the age, or what the situation is, the finality of death is still a shock. Our hearts go out to you in sympathy.

It is a great gift that you are able to speak of this time as one of joy as well as sadness. Your memories of the beauty of her life are clear, and it is a blessing and lesson to me to see this. You are in our prayers, and we thank the Lord for your mother's life.
