Evelyn Marie Ricci

Evelyn Thomas Ricci, age 36, of Grosse Pointe Farms, passed peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on August 11, 2013. Evie was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She possessed a beauty and warmth that lit up a room and a smile that was beyond compare. Evie was the second daughter of Joseph and Mary (Giasone)Thomas born on October 1st, 1976 in St. Clair Shores, MI. Loving wife of Joseph (Jay) Ricci, dearest mother of J.T. and Kate, beloved sister of Phyllis (Sean) Sullivan, JoMarie (Trevor) Faust, and Nicholas Thomas. Dear in-law of Joe and the late Sue Ricci, Linda Ascencio, Andrew (Tina) Ricci, Jennifer (Terry) Farrell, and T.R. (Tracy) Youngblood, wonderful aunt of Ryan, Madeline, and Sean Sullivan, Caroline Faust, Brooklyn Ricci, CoCo, and Mack Farrell. She is survived by many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and friends and will be missed greatly by everyone blessed to have known her. Visitation is Thursday 1-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 16, in state 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
