Frank Amedio Pesta

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia, to whom he was happily married to for 50 years; his loving daughters, Rachael Pesta and Kelly Pesta; his cherished dog, LuLu; and his precious grand-dogs, Luna, Champ, and Brewster. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Pesta and Michael Strawser.

Frank was known for his light hearted and comical personality. He was caring, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Through all of his battles with cancer, he remained a strong warrior and was seen as indestructible until the very end.

Frank’s passion was police work and he dedicated 40 years to the line of duty. Frank attended Eastern Michigan University and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.

Frank was an avid traveler. He enjoyed going on trips with his family, especially around Christmas time. He also loved anything from the 50’s or 60’s, especially his 1957 Ford Fairlane.

A Memorial Service will be held for Frank on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10AM, with a 9AM Instate at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
