Fredrick Keith Schofield Sr. died on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was born on June 24, 1936 in Royal Oak, Michigan; the son of Howard and Myrtle Schofield. He worked for JP Tool and Die for 20 years. Beloved husband of Loretta for 59 years. Loving father of Frederick Jr. (Janet Kitchens) Schofield and Erik (Toni Kitzman) Schofield. Cherished grandfather of Jason (Kami), Keith, Bryan, Kyle, Tylor, Trevor, and LeaJo. Great-grandfather of Daniel, Noah, Tye, Kira, Aiden, and Alexxa. Brother of Richard (Lillian) Schofield, David (Shirley) Schofield, Linda Stoddard, the late Juanita (Travis) Kaufman, and the late Bill (surviving wife Lori) Schofield. Visitation Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Funeral will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions to Michigan Humane Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
