Gerald "Jerry" Feikema, age 67 of Warren, passed away February 21, 2018. He was born in Rockford, Michigan on November 23, 1950; the son of John and Gertrude (nee Oldenkamp) Feikema. Jerry worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of Warren for many years. The first years of his education were spent at Courtland Center, a two-room school house near his home. He later attended Cedar Springs High School and went on to become a proud Spartan graduate, obtaining his bachelors degree from Michigan State Univeristy. In Jerrys free time, he loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting all across Michigan with his brothers, his friends, and later his son and daughter. He was also extremely handy and could fix or build anything and everything. He was absolutely a jack of all trades. Among so many things, Jerry will be remembered for his generous and caring nature, having always put everyone before himself. He is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Loving father of Matthew Feikema and Allison (Ian) Fredlund. Caring partner of Colleen Bucchare. Dear brother of Donahue (Althea), Hermina, John (Sharon) and the late Berdina (Henry), Herman, and Marie. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial gathering for Jerry will be held on Saturday, February 24th from 5:00PM until time of service 7:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren.
