Dear father of Carolyn Welton (Steven), Maggie Betke (Tim), Cynthia Amatayakul (Sam), and Gigi Zehnpfennig (Steven), Loving grandfather of Kelly, Jessyca, Carley, Allen, Lucas and one great-granddaughter, Ava. Brother of Albert, N.Joseph, John, and the late Casper and Delores. Funeral service Wednesday 2 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Visitation Tuesday 2-9 pm Gerald was fully involved in the lives of his daughters as they were children. He served on the Harper Woods School Board as well as a member of the Harper Woods Dad's Club. He served his community as a member of the Harper Woods Lions Club Gerald enjoyed fishing Saginaw Bay and Lake St. Clair. Vacations were spent at Gulf Shores, Alabama. He loved his daughters and his grandchildren.
