

Gordon "Ralph" Stolter, age 86 of Sterling Heights, passed away March 21, 2012. He was born in Detroit on May 14, 1928; the son of Lee and Hazel Stolter. Ralph was a Korean War Army veteran and a "Tinner" at Ford for 32 years. Charitable in nature, he volunteered at the VFW and often delivered magazines and paid visits to senior veterans. He enjoyed airshows and was a member of the Yankee Airshow Museum, played billiards and was on a Wii Bowling League in his later years. Beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn "Irene" for 48 years. Loving father of Benson (Jane) Roberts II, Debra Stolter and John (Lynn) Stolter. Treasured grandfather of Tawny (Tony) Bush, Benson Roberts III, Matthew Roberts, Rebecca Stolter, Jonathan (Shannon) Stolter, Zachary Stolter and Steven Stolter. Proud great-grandfather of Joshua Thomson and Crosby Stolter. Dear brother of Robert Stolter. Ralph's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00am until time of service 1:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Interment to take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics.
