Harold T. Wixson was born January 7, 1933 in Barryton, Michigan to John and Rose Wixson and entered into rest January 2, 2014 in Troy, Michigan at the age of 80 years. Harold was the dearest companion to Mary Lou England and loving father of Michelle (Victor) Schoenek, Sherri Longworth and Kathleen (Thomas) Snider. He was grandfather to Mason, Melanie, Dwayne and brother of Lynwood (Teresa) Wixson and the late Vern Wixson. Visitation Monday 3-8 pm and Funeral Tuesday 10 am at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. Harold was a Korean War Army Veteran of the 7th Division and a General Motors retiree. Burial will be at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.
