

Helen A. Trupiano, age 95 of Roseville, died February 17, 2015. She was born in Detroit on January 1920; the daughter of Frank and Theresa (nee Moschina) Washe. Helen was very active in her community. She was a longtime member of the Eagle Club, Daughters of Isabella, Roseville Seniors and many more organizations. During WWII, Helen worked as a riveter at Briggs Manufacturing Company in Detroit where she met her first husband, Harrison; She was also an employee of Chrysler as well as a Sales Clerk at Federal's Department Store in Roseville until it burned down in February 1978. Helen enjoyed bingo, playing cards, dancing and bowling. Beloved wife of Harrison Pawlitz for 34 years and Sam Trupiano for 20 years. Loving mother of Robert Pawlitz and James (Anna) Pawlitz. Step-mother of Mary Louise (Sam) Terrell. Treasured grandmother of Cathy (Mike) Carolan, Wayne (Michelle) Carpenter, Antionette (Salvadore) Trupiano and Steve (Jamillah) Carpenter. Proud great-grandmother of Joey and Christina Carolan, Dominic and Roman Carpenter, Sal, George and Anna Trupiano and Paul Carpenter. Dear sister of the late Theresa Harrington. Visitation Sunday, February 22, 2014 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Instate Monday, February 23, 2014 at 9:30am until time of mass 10:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Rd., Utica. Interment to take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
