Henry Ernest Daum, age 79 of Sterling Heights, died January 3, 2012 at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren, Michigan. Henry was born August 22, 1932 in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania to the late Adam and Jeanette Daum. After graduation Henry joined the Army serving in Korea and Viet Nam receiving the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medical, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Henry retired after serving twenty years and then became a postal worker for the United States Post Office. Henry is survived by his adoring wife Christa, daughter Monica Daum, and sons; Philip (Tanya) Daum and David Daum. Dear brother of Carol Luker, Robert (Nettie) Daum, Joyce Anthony and the late Adam Daum Jr., Philip Daum, Dorothy Barett, June Walls and Alice Spooner. Loving grandfather of Ryan Nicole Daum, Jamie Lee Daum and great grandfather to Rihanna Daum and Donovan Daum. Visitation Thursday 5P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with military honors at 7:30 P.M.
