Henry J. Lasky

Henry J. Lasky, age 90 of Warren, passed away February 19, 2014. He was born in Detroit on November 27, 1923; the son of Anthony and Eugenia Ostafyczuk. Hank served honorably as a Quartermaster for the U.S. Navy from May of 1943 until December of 1945. Following his service, Hank worked as a finish grinder for Ford for 26 years until his retirement in 1989. In his free time, Hank loved to golf. He achieved three holes-in-one, one of which was on a par-4. Beloved husband of the late Katherine for 58 years. Loving father of Kathleen (Brian) Kozlowski and Robert (Karen) Lasky. Treasured grandfather of Colleen (Greg) Brewster, Brian, Michelle and Aaron Kozlowski. Proud great-grandfather of Corbin Brewster, Chayla and Tank Rothe. Dear brother of Estrella Rybicki and the late Walter Lasky and Anthony Ostafyczuk. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 and Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Funeral Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment to immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
