Howard L. Masters, age 89, of Warren, passed away September 22, 2014. He was born September 1, 1925 in Hilham, Tennessee to the late Comer and Nora Masters. Howard retired from Sears where is worked as a parts man. He was a member of the Grosse Pointe Lakeshore Chorus and Gospel Quartette. He also enjoyed doing woodworking, was an all around repairman, a fair weather golfer and especially enjoyed sugar-free vanilla ice cream. Beloved husband of Jean. Dearest father of Linda (Glen) Webster, Jim (Cheryl) Masters, Nancy (Rick) Prince, Bob Masters, Sandy (Ron) Emberton, Sue (John) McNulty, and Cathy (Gary) Smith. Loving and proud grandfather of 22 and 19 great-grandchildren and the late great-grand-daughter, Ariana. Dear brother of John (Connie) Masters and the late Ivory Machus, Rosie Urbanski, Dorothy Masters, Mary Gean and Richard Masters. Visitation Thurs. 2pm-9pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren. In state Friday 9:30am until service 10am, Christ Lutheran Church, 32300 Schoenherr, Warren.
