Longley, Irma R. age 88; March 25, 2010 Irma Ruth Longley, 88, died March 25, 2010 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit. Mrs. Longley was born April 22, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Norma Busdieker. She earned a nursing degree from Denison University and worked at Henry Ford Hospital as a lab technician for many years. She loved quilting and knitting and she made many contributions to her favorite charities. Mrs. Longley is survived by her daughter, Meredith (David) Martinez; her son, Thomas (Rosemary) Longley and grandchildren, Kristin, Kathryn, Julia, Samuel, Jon Paul and Robert. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, W. Thomas Longley and her sister, Marianne Hill. A private memorial serives will be held at a later date.
