Irwin Waldemar Richter, age 80, died on Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born on October 20, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan; the son of Nathan and Valentina Richter. Irwin was a Certified Public Accountant for 54 years. He was a member of Renewal Church in Warren, MI and former member of Bethel Baptist Church in St. Clair Shores, MI. Irwin is the beloved husband of Betty; loving father of Karen (David) Howell, Sandra (Richard) Jaeger, Brad (Noelle), and Bruce (Renee); cherished grandfather of Hannah (Ben) Orr, James, Matt (Carmen), Jessica, Jonathan, Joshua Jaeger and Joseph; great-grandfather of Brooke Orr; and dear brother of Henry (Sally), Joan Scott, Herbert (Billie), the late Oscar (surviving wife Sherry) and the late Walter. Visitation Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Family will greet guests Friday 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church, 24600 Little Mack Avenue, St. Clair Shores.
