Isabella Schuetz

Mrs. Isabella Schuetz (Sweenie), age 91, of Warren, died Dec. 12, 2016. She was born in Greenoch, Scotland the daughter of James and Catherine (McGonigle) Sweenie. She came to America in 1947 and began working at domestic work in Grosse Pointe for various families. Her last family was the Ford family. She married George Schuetz in 1964 and George died in 1983. She most recently was a resident at Park Place Assisted Living in Warren. She was an avid reader and was proud to be Scotch and a Catholic. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of George (Sharon) Schuetz, Jack (Suzan) Schuetz, John (Nancy) Rosenburg and the late Barbara Zeiter; dear mother-in-law of Ken Zeiter; dear aunt of Sheila Zebula, Kathleen Deliso, and James Crosson; also survived by many grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-9 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13 mile) Warren. Rosary 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
