Jason Scott Bernier

Jason Scott Bernier passed away surrounded by his loved ones on May 17, 2024 at Henry Ford Hospital. Jason was born August 8, 1977 to Juliette (Bleau) Bernier and Robert Bernier at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C.

Jason spent his early years in Detroit. He attended St. Matthews Catholic School before attending Grosse Pointe North High School.

In 1996, His daughter Kaitlyn Pochmara was born. In 2000, he welcomed son, Dakota Robert, and in 2003 welcomed son, Malachi Avery.

Jason met his future wife, Lindsey in 2013 and they were inseparable from the first day. Jason and Lindsey were married in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on February 23, 2021.

Jason enjoyed the outdoors so much and enjoyed hunting, mud bogs, and riding motorcycles.

Jason leaves behind to cherish in his memory his loving wife, Lindsey; loving daughter, Kaitlyn; loving sons, Dakota and Malachi; father, Robert Bernier; mother and step- father, Juliette and Tom Zuchowski; sister, Rachel Bernier; nephews, Eli, Samuel, and Arthur; uncles, Micah Bernier and Joel Bernier, although they were more like brothers; and mother of his sons, Kristy Cramer. Jason also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins to cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held for Jason on Friday May 24, 2024 at 11AM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday May 26, 2024 at Metro Beach Park from 1PM until 7PM.
