Jason Christopher Lewis

Jason attended Peace Lutheran, St. Clair of Montefalco, and Notre Dame Private Schools. While in high school, Jason matured and earned a place in the National Honors Society, as well as graduating Cum Laude from Notre Dame High School. After graduation, Jason attended University of Michigan, majoring in engineering for a short time.

Jason proudly owned Greenway Cleaning, his own janitorial service for 15+ years, he worked tirelessly to build an incredibly successful business. Working day and night, to build his legacy in his business.

Jason was an incredible father to his joy Gabrielle Soleil Lewis. Jason was a mentor, a leader, respected by many, ready to give a hand and give direction to the ones who asked. He was an understanding, compassionate, hardworking, intelligent, logical, yet so loving man who would give you the shirt off of his back. He was headstrong, he was confident, and he stuck to his word. No promise would be broken when it came to Jason. He was a brilliant man, a loving father, an understanding brother, an amazing son, and a strong mentor.

Jason had many interests, he loved all sports, especially basketball. Jason had a passion for all kinds of music, listening to every genre in the book, he had no favorite. He was an amazing cook, always coming up with new recipes for the family to try.

Jason Christopher Lewis departed this life on November 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lily Green.

Jason leaves his cherished memories to: his parents Malcolm and Yvette Lewis; his daughter Gabrielle Lewis; his siblings, Jeremy, Ian, Kiden, and Ike (Brother from another mother) Lewis; his Auntie Brenda; his long-term girlfriend Rochelle Govert; the mother to his daughter, Antoinette Culpepper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on November 18, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, located at 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.

The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.
