Joann Sandra Vanderheyden, age 78 a resident of Warren, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019. She was born on November 5, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Louise Rivera. Joann worked as a Sewer for Fisher Dynamics for a number of years. She was a single mom whose number one priority was to support her family. Joann lived for her grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed family dinners and family gatherings as well as craft projects. Joann is the beloved mother of Tammie(Paul) Thompson, Shannon(John) Easterly, and Amy(Rick) Sutcliffe. Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Sandra Smith and Joseph Rivera. Dear sister in law of Rae Rivera. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, November 9, 2019 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren (at Masonic 13 Mile Rd.). Visitation will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
