John Donald McCabe died on September 1, 2012 at the age of 79. John was a veteran with US Army during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 0004. He loved sports and later in life enjoyed the game of golf. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Kimberly (Gregg) Ponke, Laura, Daniel, and Julie (Jeffrey) Haslem. Dearest grandfather of Megan, Erin, Devin, Brett, and Jack. Brother of Kathleen Graziadei, Michael, Patrick (Sandra) and the late Eileen Tear and Marie Delaney. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorials service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families--St. Dorothy Site, 12255 Frazho Rd., Warren, MI 48089.
