Joseph David Peters died Monday, April 21, 2014 after a long illness at age 82. He was born in Detroit Michigan on July 7, 1931 to Rose and David Peters. He grew up in Detroit and was living in the city at the time of his death. Joseph excelled in the world of Electronics and even taught the subject for School's and US Army's education program in Electronics. He was very proud of his service to his country in the United States Army. Joseph is survived by his wife Carole McKinley, his sons Mark, Bruce and grandson Tyler. His sister Helen, his niece's Sandra and Rose and his nephew David as well. He was predeceased by his parents Rose and David, his sister Jeanette and his son the late David Peters. There will be visitation for Joseph Sunday, April 27, 3-8 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road Grosse Pointe Woods. Burial will be private.
