Joseph Dean Stefani, born October 17, 1942 and died July 20th 2022. Joe leaves behind his beloved wife Jill and many lifelong friends. Joe grew up in Detroit and attended St. David’s Primary School and St. Thomas High School. He was a proud Pipefitter and good Union Man belonging to Local 636.
He was a proud Fisherman and a lifelong “River Rat”> He was a world class Fisherman who mastered the art of Fly-fishing here and around the country. He followed his passion for Fishing to the Deep Sea’s and Became a Treasure Hunter and was part of a team assembled by famous Treasure Hunter Mel Fisher. He loved his beloved wife Jill, his lifelong friends and his Union and off course Fishing and Hunting.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of His life on August 6 from 1-8 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave at Vernier road, Grosse Pointe Woods.
