Joyce R Baetens

Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theodore Baetens.

Joyce is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Dau (David), Renee Strobl (Donald), and Larry Baetens (Donna); loving grandchildren, Ryan Dau, Grant Strobl (Rachel), Kent Strobl, Alexander Baetens, and Seth Baetens; and loving sister, Rosemarie Williams.

Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed her work as a library assistant. Joyce also loved spending time at her family’s cottage in Lexington, MI. She also enjoyed playing the piano and listening to music.

A Visitation will be held for Joyce on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 4PM-9PM, with a Rosary Service starting at 7PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A Funeral Mass will be held for Joyce on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10AM, she will lie in state starting at 9:30AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake Street St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.

St Joan of Arc will livestream the liturgy. It will be available on their Facebook Page and the livestream page of the parish website (livestream.stjoan.church). The video can be viewed LIVE or on-demand.
