Julie Elizabeth BURDA

Julie Elizabeth Burda, age 74, of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Julie was born May 8, 1948. No Service is set at this time. It is with great sadness and sorrow that I write of my big sister’s passing, Julie, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, after battling bladder cancer for many years. Julie was a wonderful sister to me and my brothers, Jay and Ken. Ken and I will miss her dearly but we will find peace knowing she is no longer in pain, and at home with God, along with Jay and our parents. Julie was a force of nature and dove into life with so much passion and devotion. She was always there for her three younger brothers, even though we repeatedly tested her patience. Despite the fact she was battling cancer, she found time to listen to us and provide each of us guidance in our lives. I will feel lost without her continued support and guidance. I thank Allen, her longtime companion, for his love and dedication to Julie. A conversation never went by without her reminding me of his love and caring for her despite her health challenges. I thank Ron, for his support and partnership with Julie for so many years, and all his help more recently for both Julie and Allen. I thank both of these amazing men in her life who supported and loved her. Words can't express the loss I feel. I was so blessed to have Julie as my big sister. Rest in peace, Julie, I love you.
