Keith Edward Harper

Keith Edward Harper, age 59, passed away suddenly on Monday May 15, 2023. Cherished brother to Cindy (Richard) Brauer and Rondal. Loving uncle to Rebecca (Gregory) Amrhein, Kayla (John) Knight, Jacob (Daisy) Ennis, Noah and Ethan. Adored great-uncle to Michael and Aster and soul-father to Malyk. Keith also leaves behind countless family members and dear friends.

Keith was born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan to the late Rondal Jr. and the late Corrinne. He attended Wayne State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Most recently, Keith worked as the Safety and Human Resources Coordinator for Detroit Disposal & Recycling. He also has worked for many catering and food service companies throughout the years. Keith also was a fitness enthusiast and lover and creator of all things delicious.

Keith was a man of the strongest faith, with the most generous spirit, and the biggest, kindest, warmest heart; a person who always tried to leave everyone who crossed his path a little better than he found them, putting a smile on their face. Keith was a beloved and faithful member of St. Augustine St. Monica Roman Catholic Church in Detroit.

An animated storyteller, Keith could find humor in the strangest of circumstances, and has left us with memories that will keep us all laughing for the rest of our days. His unwavering faith in God fueled his gratitude and optimism, which gave him strength until the very end.

He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4 PM until 8 PM, rosary service at 7 PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A memorial Mass will be on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11 AM at St. Augustine St. Monica Roman Catholic Church, 4151 Seminole, Detroit, MI 48214.
