Leo P. Fitzpatrick Jr passed away on November 9, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born on September 26, 1928 in Detroit; son of Leo and Edith (nee Danforth) Fitzpatrick. He graduated from De LaSalle High School as the class president and from the University of Detroit in 1954. He retired from Micromatic-Textron as a sales engineer. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Colonel during the Korean War as a member of the honor guard. He enjoyed gardening and golfing. Leo was predeceased by his wife Eileen. He was proud of his children Brian (Elaine) and the late Kevin. He adored his granddaughters Megan and Maura. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 21 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford, Grosse Pointe Woods. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchins.
