Lisa Anne Cann

Lisa Ann Cann passed away on November 19, 2010 at the age of 45. She was born on December 10th, 1964; daughter of Victor and Linda (nee Lietz) Haerens. Lisa was a very smart child. She talked before most children and was very social. She would talk and play with her older siblings friends as if she were the same age. She attended Montieth Elementary School, Parcells Middle School, and Graduated from Grosse Pointe North in 1983. Lisa was a Licensed Massage Therapist. She was a free spirit despite suffering from Scoliosis. As an adult, Lisa was proud to have bought the family home on Manchester in Harper Woods. She was very artsy and artistic and enjoyed crafting jewelry with her nieces. She was a wonderful cook who loved chicken wings. Lisa was a gentle soul that loved all animals. She will be missed by her loving parents Victor and Linda Haerens. She leaves behind her loving siblings Denise Walt (David Couture), Rita (Tom) Margitish, Vic (Ro) Haerens, and Jeffrey Haerens. She adored her nieces and nephews Donald (Angela) Walt, Michael Walt, Susan (Ray) Lingerfelt, Tom (Julie) Margitish, Timothy Margitish, Jeffrey, James and Matthew Haerens, and Charles and Victoria Haerens. She was the Great Aunt of Bryan, Emily, Katie, Charlotte, and Tommy. Lisa adored her dog Speck and cat Samira. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 27th at 10:00 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her family will receive guests after 9:00 am. She will be missed by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Lisa's name to D.A.R.E.
