Loree A. Gibbons, age 44 died unexpectantly on July 13, 2009. She was born on August 23, 1964 in Detroit. Loree was a graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School. She was employed as a nanny and worked for the Barrett family for over 14 years. She was devoted to their three children and was involved in their activities. Loree is survived by her sister Bonnie Garman (Chuck), her brother Todd and six nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Terrance and Geraldine and a brother Allen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Interment will be at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday and 2:00 to 9:00 pm Friday.
