Lou was my friend, coworker and union brother. We spent a year together working in Salt Lake City. Our work took us in different directions then he retired. Gone too soon. Miss you buddy.

Lou, you were a wonderful husband to my lifelong friend Teri, a loving step dad to Jen and Katie and a special grandfather to Stella and Jack. You will always be in our hearts.

Dear Terri and Family, Mike and I were so saddened by the recent news of your dear husband, Louie's passing. Our deepest love, condolences and prayers are with you and the family. The faithful man Job expressed his confidence in Gods power to bring the dead back to life when he said: "If a man dies can he live again?" Then he answers his own question with: "I will wait [in the grave] all the days of my compulsory service, until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will yearn for the work of your hands" (Job 14:14, 15). May the family find comfort in Gods desire to bring back to life our loved ones lost to death like Louis "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing" (1 Corinthians 15:26).

I am in tears as I write this. I deeply loved all of you Lou Sr., Bea Louis and Beth. We all grew up together. Jesus wept also at the death of his friend for he knew how much it hurts all of us to lose someone. How great will be the joy when we are reunited. May God console you at this time of sorrow. My family and I would like to give you and your family our deepest sympathy For the lost of your love one. I too have lost several loved ones in death, and the pain is tremendous, even with the passage of time. I found words of encouragement from God's word the Bible. The Bible speaks of death being an enemy that God never intended mankind to experience. In Isaiah 25:8, God promises that in the future he will actually swallow up death forever. You can put all your trust in God's promises. You and your family are in my prayers.

I graduated with Louis from South Lake High School. When he went into the service, I bought his 66 VW Beetle. He didn't want to sell it to me for fear that it would break down and I would be upset with him. I was persistent and it served me well as a first car. Louis was best man at my first marriage and married my sister, Donna. He was a great friend. Just a week ago, I saw him on Facebook and almost sent a friend request out to him but held back because I had not seen him in so long. I regret that I didn't connect with him. My sincere condolences to his family (Beth, Lou Sr, Bea and his wife, Terry). I know he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
