ZENONI, Louis J. November 14, 2010 Age 86 Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Machetta) for 57 years. Dear father of Michael (Jan) and Ann Marie (Ron) Wrobbel. Loving grandfather of Laurent, Temple and Ronnie. Brother -in-law of John Machetta. Memorial service Wednesday 12 noon at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Henry Ford Continuing Care and the Henry Ford Hospice. Mr. Zenoni proudly served as a staff sergeant during WWII in the U. S. Army, stationed in Australia. He graduated from the Detroit Institute of Technology in 1949, earning a bachelor degree. Mr. Zenoni retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company in 1984 after 30 years of faithful service. Michigan Bell later became Ameritech then SBC. He belonged to Telephone Pioneers and Eastside Parkinson Group. He enjoyed playing golf and volunteered his time managing Little League Baseball in Harper Woods. His volunteerism extended to assisting with tax work with the AARP.
