Malcolm Townsend passed away May 15, 2014 at Detroit Receiving Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Jeanetta, son Andre, and grandchildren Andre Townsend Jr., Julia, Nathan, and Alexa Jackson. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Malcolm loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about life as only a loving grandfather could. He could often be found tending his flower and vegetable gardens. A sports aficionado, he followed the Tigers, Lions and NCAA football. An avid bowler, he won over 40 trophies and accomplished every bowlers dream of rolling a 300 game.
